Reblogged from standupforwomen :

Whether pro-life or pro-choice, we can agree that low-income women, men, and families should have access to healthcare.

feministblackboard:

97% of Planned Parenthood’s affordable, often free services include:

  • breast exams,
  • pap testing,
  • vaccinations,
  • STD/STI testing and treatment,
  • HIV testing,
  • contraception,
  • emergency contraception,
  • sterilization,
  • vasectomies,
  • pregnancy testing,
  • prenatal care,
  • adoption referrals,
  • sexual and reproductive education, and more.

Abortions make up the remaining 3% of Planned Parenthood services.

Rally against the defunding of Planned Parenthood in your local community. Politicians responsible for cutting funds aren’t offering alternatives, which means thousands of low-income women, children, and men will go without the exams, screening, testing, and healthcare services that they deserve access to.
